Chinese Herbs
Chinese herbal medicine looks to address both the mind and the body in an integrated fashion. It is based on the premise that by balancing the body and treating the person as a whole, not just treating the symptoms, optimal health can be achieved. A unique therapeutic formula of herbs will be prescribed for you based on your individual needs and taken during different times of your menstrual cycle. The formula can range anywhere from eight to twenty ingredients. Your fresh herbal prescription made from roots, leaves, bark, and flowers can be administered in the form of teas, pills, or granules. In general, the herbs are discontinued post IVF transfer, or once pregnant.
